Just ducking in before Sunday ends to share my seven photos of last week, for another Sunday Sevens. Sunday Sevens is the brainchild of the wonderful Nat at Thread and Bobbins devised for bloggers to share seven photos of their personal week.
- After a gloriously sunny week, the week before, the cold and rain returned at the beginning of this week…
2. With the second half of the No Nylon Sock KAL starting, I took out my newly finished BFL socks and a pair recently knitted with nylon, so I could give them both equal wear until the end of the wear trial.
3. Despite the continued bad weather, I dyed some wool.
4. Can you imagine my delight on Wednesday when Lovely Littlest, who’s shown no inclination to knit since I taught her when she was about 8, sent me this photo…
5. Thursday afternoon it finally turned bright and sunny. However, I missed it because I had a appointment to have my highlights redone.
6. Back home the sunshine inspired us to have a BBQ – although the it was a wee bit on the chilly side.
7. The end of the week I spent mostly sorting out for my first craft stall- which I’ll tell you about in the week…
Hope you’ve had a great week.
Seems like it was a fun, productive week- and the next generation knits! Yea!

Looks like a good week, except for the weather maybe. 😉 Love the dyed wool, and your highlights I bet turned out great. Take care, Bekki.

The sock experiment will be interesting! Yay, great to see the start of what will hopefully prove to be another knitting lover! Excited for you with the show, I hope it goes well. Is it during week and will it be anywhere near Ilfracombe? Abz is down there this week! Enjoy! Xx

Hi Sharon. Show was actually yesterday, I just messed up scheduling my Sunday Sevens for while I was out, but was too exhausted to mess uploading photos when I got back, so just pressed post as it was 🙂 xx

I love your dyed yarn, the colours are super. Hope the weather is dry at least, with less rain, even if still a bit chilly. Sending you warm sunshine hugs in the meantime.
Enjoy the new week. 🙂

Thank you. Predictably I did it in colours I liked – although that purple was supposed to be pink. But it’s pretty, so all good 🙂

Lovely colours for your home dyed yarn – they all go together beautifully. I don’t colour my hair at all but would love to sit in the hairdressers for a couple of hours on my own, just to do nothing and drink a cup of coffee in peace! I was actually excited to see that photo of your daughter knitting – I wish mine would show an interest like her brothers:)

Another fun week with plenty going on, despite the rain at the beginning. Glad to see Lovely Youngest has taken up knitting. Who knows where that may lead. Great coat for a barbecue (in Britain, at any rate). 🙂

It is, and she’s left it here and gone off travelling again, so I may need to see if I can squeeze into it.
