I’m very excited to tell you we have a new woolly festival in the south west! Stitch Fest South West will take palace on 5th and 6th November 2016 in Totnes. Tickets aren’t on sale yet, but you can find more details, including a list of vendors here. There will also be workshops including one by Erica Knight!
I’ve been lucky enough to secure a stall at Stitch Fest, so am excited about that, but sad I won’t be able to visit as a visitor. If you live in the South West, you’ll know that woolly festivals this far south west are few and far between, but hopefully this one will become a regular feature.
Good for you for getting a stall. I bet you’ll have a blast running it and chatting with everyone!

Thank you. Hopefully and whatever else happens, it’ll be a great learning experience.

Thank you. I’m so pleased we’ve got a new one nearer here. There’s so many up country. There was a great one last year about 3/4 hour away, but it was run by volunteers and they just can’t manage to do it again 😦

That’s quite a long list of exhibitors – I’ll try to get down there, although it’s still quite a hike from South Somerset.

I agree, it’s not the most accessible place. I’ll take me an hour from West Devon. (I’m wondering if I should sleepover or go home Saturday night) Just hope there’s enough enthusiasm to travel for it. We so badly need something in the south west – but I think Proper woolly that ran in Holsworthy was much better placed – sadly too much for the volunteers who ran it to run it again. Mind we’re used to having to travel more to stuff down here and it’s all a learning curve for me working out my direction still anyway. Do hope you can make it!
