I’ve spent the last two days away from my laptop, knee deep in Jacob fleeces. Here’s the boys that grew some of them…
…and the girls…
All this busy sheepiness means I’ve now got lots more lovely yarn in the pipeline to use for my new ideas next year π However, it also meansΒ I’ve only just arrived back to open doors seven and eight on my free Santa sack knitting patterns advent calendar – and yes, I know, today is the 9th! But I’ll save that one for tomorrow since I’ve so much else to catch up on too.
Here they are…
December 7th…
and December 8th…
You can find the patterns here

Happy knitting!
Aah lovely woolly girls and boys! I have a ball of hand spun, undyed, yarn from a local girl here who has both goats – from whose milk she makes lovely soap – and some Jacob sheep. I thought it would be a nice gift to send to my Stitching Santa partner (the knitting one obviously – I’m in both) as it’s a local product and not for sale in the shops.
You are a trooper to give us all these little sacklets and, although I haven’t had chance to knit any up myself, I’m sure there’ll be people clicking away on their needles all over the place.

As you well know, I’m all for sharing the localness. I must must must get on with my secret Santa – although I know they’ll be getting some Dartmoor wool π I did wonder if I’d gone mad when I decided to do this, but I’ve started so I’ll finish. And yes, I’m getting reports of them being knitted π

I’m liking the little moss stitch fellow! Those rams are most handsome!

They certainly are good looking rams π I knitted the moss stitch one continental style for the practice and he’s come out a lot fatter than the others – opps!
