It seems forever since I wrote a normal blog post, having posted my advent calendar of knitted Santa sack patterns all month. So I’m breaking myself in gently by showing you the gifts I received from my #stitchingsanta. This year I received a parcel from Sam Phripp, who blogs at Β So Sam Said. I received a Christmasy skein of hand dyed merino and nylon yarn from Marmalade Yarns in Frome….
… and some cute little Santa socks…
Thank you to Sam and also a thank you again to the lovely Shelia, who blogs as Sewchet, for organising the swap.
Right, back to the wine and mince pies.
Hope everyone’s having a fab Christmas.
Very cute little Santa Socks π I’m sure you’ll make something lovely with the yarn too!

That certainly is some very colourful yarn – what will you make with it?
I like the socks for Mr. Hicks too π – don’t let him get them muddy.

Ha ha! Not sure what I’ll make – it’s sock yarn, but a) I’m fed up with knitting socks and b) it’s too pretty to be stuffed inside shoes.

Lovely Christmassy yarn, oooh the possibilties! And those little Santa socks would be so sweet on the Christmas tree, wouldn’t they?

Yes, although will probably pop in my stash until later to next year to make a decision. I really should have the santa sacks on the tree now, but I haven’t.
