Joining in again this week with Sunday Sevens – the brainchild of Nathalie at Thread and Bobbins.
In a week when I didn’t leave the house for three days and didn’t leave the Parish boundary all week, I might have been stuck for pics. Buy fortunately I’d given House Hubby aka Lovely Husband – thought I’d make that clear in case you thought I had two husbands – a list. As well as doing the shopping and walking HRH without me, he worked on making a bedhead for us…
… and on the only sunny day we had, creating the vegetable garden…
When I finally came out the house on Wednesday, it was to help walk Mr Hicks. Like most of the week it was horribly damp and cold…
I did however spot some catkins…
In other signs of spring, the daffodils started to bloom in our garden….
… and although i haven’t seen any lambs yet this year, there were some new animals in the fields around the village…
Okay, it’s only a couple of horses, but what do you expect from a woman who’s been under the duvet for most of the week?
There were also some new goats I hadn’t seen before…
And finally, although I wasn’t well enough to do much knitting, I did get my mojo back sufficiently by Saturday to finish the sleeves on my cable cardigan.
Hope you’ve had a good one!
Oh no, sorry you’ve been poorly. Looks like you still managed to be productive though. 😊

Thank you. So much to do in our ‘produce area’ I’m not sure we’ll actually get much planted this year 😦 Good luck with yours 🙂

glad you are feeling better! If you couldn’t knit much, you must have been sick. Signs of spring will brighten the spirit, though…

Glad your feeling better. Love the cable pattern on your sleeves. I’m still cabling away on my chunky jumper…it will be too warm to wear by the time I’m finished!!

Great to see Mr Hicks out and about, and even if the weather was a bit gloomy it still looked pretty awesome out there, with the daffodils and all.
Enjoy the new week and take care.

Glad you are on the mend. I spent all Sunday morning in bed but that was self-inflicted as my daughter is visiting with her friends for some skiing action and I stayed up too late drinking with the youf and paid for it the next day.
Those sleeves look gorgeous – remind me which pattern it is, or is it one of your designs?

Well that’s what you get for trying to keep up with the kids 😦
Thank you – it’s my own pattern. I keep thinking I should write it up and sell it when I’ve finished, but it’s working out all the different sizes that’s putting me off.

I’ll bet there’s some sort of magic method of doing that somewhere in internet land. I’m useless at calculations and maths of any sort so I’d be of no help.

I’ve got stitchmastery, which I thought did it, but I’m not so sure now. Must have a proper look. You’re right there must be something. Of course I’ll also have to convert my calculations from extra tall giraffe with orangutan arms to normal person first :-)e

Not another one – there are some nasty bugs doing the rounds it seems. Yes, quite a productive week considering you haven’t crossed the Parish border. A new headboard sounds interesting….

Thank you. Hubby doesn’t have the best DIY track record, but despite having a huge bedroom there’s only only one place to put the bed and that’s beneath the slopping roof. So you can’t sit up in bed with it against the wall – the quote for making a bedhead/surround to push it forward was so huge, we gave other things priority and now he’s off and it’s way too wet to go in the garden he’s decided to do it. Pleased to say it’s looking good so far….
