Joining in again this week with Sunday Sevens, which was started by Nathalie at Threads and Bobbins.
Here in the UK, last week started with Mothers’ Day and cards and presents…

I also had a lovely phone call from Littlest, Eldest face-timed from NZ, and Mr Hicks took me out for breakfast…
… at Okehampton Station (of course).
I took this pic of LH and HRH from the opposite platform as I’ve posted so many already from our table at the cafe…
HRH also bought some sneaky millionaire’s shortbread for afternoon tea at home….
Apart from Mother’s day, it was a pretty average week with the highlights as usual being, loosing at the pub quiz…

…and lots of walks with Hicks…

Hope you’ve had a Β great week!
That Mr. Hicks is such a good son to take you out to breakfast. I hope you rewarded him with a tiny bit of bacon.

Well that was lovely! Nice to see you being spoiled by your boys. And ending with a dog about to get in a puddle pic is just as good as the dog actually in a puddle ….. I had a wee happy anticipation feeling as i looked at it π

They are good boys π HRH was back to his old tricks walking down the river, looking for rats in the bank – haven’t seen him do that for ages.

Sounds like an awesome week, and a happy Mother’s day. So great. Ours here are not due yet. π
The weather is getting pretty nice there, and I still love that station. It is an adorable place to unwind. Glad you did.
It is nearly 30 degrees C here in Johannesburg today, so much for it being Fall. It may be for most of the week, so they say. π
Have a great week and take care.

Thank you. Glad you’re still enjoying the station. 30 degrees sounds hot. Think i could do with something lower. You have a great week too xx

Yes, it is very hot. And sunny. π I guess Fall is going to start a bit late this year.

Aw, thoughtful pressies, Mother’s Day seems a distant memory now. I’m slowly catching up on your posts and making use of an unusual lull at work π

I met up with Nanacathy yesterday and she mentioned a few things (were your ears burning?!) and it made me realise I was more behind that I thought. I’m feeling a bit more accomplished now as I tuck into my soup. π
