Joining in again this week with Sunday Sevens – started by Nathalie at Threads and Bobbins – sharing seven pictures of my personal week.
Last Sunday we took a trip to Wembury on the coast. As it was high tide in the middle of the day, we had a walk along the cliff path…
… then a little dip where the tide had receded enough…
On the way home I spotted a car that I was sure was belonged to a knitter…
Despite not so good weather forecasts, the weather stayed fine enough for a few Barbecues. Here’s our friendly robin who joins us for them…
Out walking on the moor we met some foals sunbathing while their mums grazed…
But Mr Hicks was more interested in the stream…
Yesterday I took a stall at Lydford Summer Fair. The committee had worked really hard to bring in lots of new events. I missed the pony dancing from my stall, but was opposite the viking reenactment ring…
Hope you’ve had a great week!
I would love to go a walk and come accross wild ponies and foals. 🙂

No cake this week? Well thank heavens for 2 x Mr Hicks in water!! ❤ I don't suppose you were terribly scared of those Vikings …….. 🙂

No cake, but there have been malteasers I’ve failed to photograph 🙂 No, they weren’t too scary – although they did steal our vicar at one point – one even bought a ball of wool from me.

No pillaging then from the vikings, I love that one bought some wool. Maybe the car was his? The coastal walk looks really nice, and happy to see Mr Hicks take a sea cure!

They did steal a vicar for a while. Sorry to disappoint, but it was a lady viking that bought the wool.

Mr Hicks looks like he’s really enjoyed his paddles. Wembury is lovely isn’t it, it’s close enough to us that it’s a regular walking spot. My parents had their marriage blessed in the church there a few years ago.

Yes it is. Lucky you to be so close. We tend to go there when we want to go to the beach but it’s a lunchtime high tide on all the dog friendly beaches we love. What a lovely place for your parents to have their marriage blessed.

Definitely a knitters private number plate! Lovely to see Hicks enjoying the sea, too. Barbecues are off the menu for the foresee future as the rain seems to have broken our Summer – has it reached you yet?

Yes, wet today, but it’s supposed to be dry again from tomorrow. So fingers crossed. And to be honest with Hicks struggling so much in the heat I’m happy with 17 degrees and dry.

Great week and a lovely road trip. I am sure Mr. H enjoyed the trip tremendously, and getting a dip in, is always so much better.
Glad the weather is pleasant, enjoy and make the most of it. 🙂
