A while back I decided to have some of the lovely Jacob boys and girls wool processed into roving.
I dyed some of it…
…and bagged it up…
I wet felted a few sheets…
Then between life, holidays, daughter visiting and being unwell, I didn’t do much more. But I did do a few things…
I made some dryer balls…
I made a flock of Β sheep brooches…
I even managed to put both the dryer balls and the brooches up for sale in the shop, and to sell half of both of them, along with all the roving, at last weekend’s craft fair π
I also took a little inspiration from the daisies I posted about a couple of weeks ago,…
… and did a little embroidery on the green piece of the felt I made…
Unfortunately the vibrancy of the green felt – it’s the sheet in the pic at the top – isn’t being picked up by my phone camera in today’s light π¦
So, not a lot over a whole month, but at least something!
I love the embroidered daisies. That is a wonderful idea.

Ooooh I love your embroidered daisies! And your felt and your dryer balls – my goodness I’d call that a good result for a month or two!! And you are selling your handmade items too – that in itself is a coup!

Good to hear that the new additions to your range are selling well. What a good idea to sell roving as well as wool so you can appeal to filters as well as knitters. Love the daisy inspiration, too.

So thats not a lot? Seem to recall you had a holiday along the way, and walked Mr Hicks, and did the fair. That seems a lot to me, I love the sheep brooches, bet you could branch out with a bee, or maybe I should stop giving you ideas and make a beee myself. Love the daisies too.

Walked Mr Hicks – you’re right there, that becomes ever more time consuming and shorter π¦ Look forward to seeing your bee π
