When I just looked back at my blog posts, I discovered my last WIP update was September 7th; six weeks ago! Of course a lot has happened since then, so I’m not beating myself up for not having finished anything, the lack of updates since, or lack of progress. However, I have made some progress. But first off, here’s what I’ve completely ignored…
That scarf….
I’d say I was still deciding what I’m doing with it, but quite frankly I haven’t given it a thought – it’s teetering, I think, on becoming a UFO.
The other project I’m ignoring is the mitred square mystery. I simply haven’t found the space/time to dye the roving and make felt for it, so that too is teetering on the edge of UFO doom.
As for what I have been working on…
The second wavelength sock is all but finished…
Don’t tell hubby, but I’ve started the motif on his Christmas sweater. No prizes for guessing what it is.
There, of course, has been Santa sack knitting. I’m not sure which, but my WIP post of 7th Sept says five left to knit, so I’ll show my shot of them knitted in 5 different sizes…
The post also said I had these three to sew up…
And finally, the one thing I feel that I have made real progress on; the Lost in Time Shawl that I started a month ago.
Under the circumstances, I’m really quite pleased with my progress 🙂
Such a yummy shawl. I think you’ve made great progress 🙂

I think, under the very special circumstances, you can be excused.

That sounds like a lovely lot of progress 🙂 And letting things drop into the UFO pile isn’t necessarily a bad thing

Thank you. The thing about the UFO pile though is I set a goal this year not to have any UFOs 😦

That so reminds me I need to get on with a huge bunch of WIPS ….. some of which may never be finished or will turn back into balls to be recreated into another something. Well done on sharing !

Thanks. I’m been debating unravelling that scarf for months, but everyone keeps encouraging me not to, so it just sits and sits 😦

Love the shawl! I so want you to finish the mystery object because I have no clue what it is going to be. I have a big basket that hides under my table. It is crammed with yarn and ufos. I don’t know what to do about it and I am haunted by it….. You are doing just fine xoxo

Thank you. I am loving making the shawl. What about unravelling any UFOs you know you’ll never finish?

Meh – I sewed them up so neatly and wove in all the ends that every time I look at them with that intention they end up back in the box …… I’ll probably bite the bullet one day, but for now I prefer to live with my head in the sand 🙂

Eek! In that case, sounds like a good plan 🙂

I would be very pleased with the progress on such a lovely shawl. The colours are amazing.
🙂 Just let the others sit for a bit, they don’t really need attention just yet.
Love the Santa Sacks, we are slowly gearing up it seems.
Enjoy the rest of the week.

A flashing nose… brilliant. 🙂
The shawl looks lovely. You seem to be making great progress on it. I’m struggling to get my teeth into any of my wips atm…

Thank you. The crochet has been calling me, but little else. I’m sure you’ll get you mojo back soon 😉
