A couple of weeks ago I put a picture on my Sunday Sevens of some balls of wool I’d been winding. In the comments section, the lovely Judith from A Wee Story Book asked if I sold wool by the cone. I told her ‘no’, but if she’d like it by the cone, I could do it for her.
Shortly after I’d replied, a little voice in my head asked, So why don’t you sell cones of wool?
Another Doh! moment. Of course I should put them up for sale in the shop, so people don’t have to ask or go away without asking thinking I don’t. Sometimes the simplest things evade me.
Anyway, I just thought I’d tell you in case anyone fancies wool by the cone, there is DK and 4ply white Ryeland and 4ply brown and white Jacob by the cone here.
I’m like that too 😀 I now know that someone will say something to me that will change the way I do – or don’t do – things, I’m on the alert for it at all times. It’s happened all through my life – Isn’t it wonderful!! 😀

It is – we can all simply be open and listen to others in everything we do – and certainly in more important things than selling wool on cones. Such a shame so few people do 😦

Thank you for sharing and the mention!
The yarn looks very interesting ❤
Hopefully i shall try it at some point soon, when budget and stash space allow again…
Have a lovely week!

Oh why don’t more retailers think like that!

I know how you feel. Especially about plastic wrapped fruit and veg in supermarkets! All they need to do is not put it on in the first place – which is less work, not more!
