So I’ve been a little absent from the blog world lately. I’m afraid I’ve no real excuses. I haven’t been particularly extra busy, but somehow I took a break for week and it turned into six. So I thought I’d start back with a quick post of seven photos of my last six weeks of the non-crafty things I’ve been up to, before I move onto the crafty ones.
July started with me busy helping organise the village fair – if you’re local and missed it, look out for it next year, it really is growing into an amazing event.
We’ve had lots of lovely hot sunny weather which meant trips to the beach
And lovely sunny walks…
We even went up country once and saw the girls – who don’t like their photos on the blog, so instead here’s a pic of sign at a service station on the A303 – I’ve never seen a service station that doesn’t allow dogs. We certainly won’t be stopping there again.
At home we’ve mostly been gardening, but I don’t seem to have taken any pics of anything looking pretty in the garden…
And that really is about it.
Hope you’ve all had a great summer.
I’ll be back soon with some crafty posts.
Until next time
Bekki x
Glad to see you’re still with us.
I’ve been a bit neglectful of my blog too these past couple of months but I think most people have been melting in the heat, fretting about Brexit, away on holiday or wishing they were – so probably didn’t even notice.
Your garden looks very like mine at the moment. I half heartedly tugged at some weeds today but was defeated by their number and strength.

You’ve been hiding too?!!!
Actually the SW avoided the real heat, don’t think we got above 26 and then most days were more around 22.
I’ve given up fretting about Brexit -although I’m sure I’ll start again soon.
Ha ha! your gardening technique sounds remarkably like mine. LH is however making great inroads into the nettles that are covering what will become our vegetable garden, so feeling very guilty about my pathetic efforts.

While I can’t complain of the heat I too have been mostly absent for the last month or so. Hunkering down and keeping warm has been my fixation. Nice to see you come by again xo

Thank you. I hope I didn’t complain about the heat. It really wasn’t that hot here. Stay warm – maybe time to break out the knitting? xx

No you didn’t complain – that was just me extrapolating how I respond to hot summer days. I vaguely recall them…… I’ve been crocheting……..

Aw! Bless you. Since I got absolutely soaked today walking Harry and they’re definitely feeling like a vague memory for me too.
Look forward to seeing the crochet.

Lovely to hear and see you again. How super that dogs are allowed on your beach. I have struggled to maintain a presence on line due to family issues.

Thanks you. Lots of beaches do let dogs on and of course we don’t go to the ones that don’t 🙂
Sorry to hear you’re having challenges. Hope they resolve positively very soon xx
