Welcome to my Sunday Sevens – a post where I share seven (or so) photos of my week away from the blog. But before I post any photos here’s a quick one question quiz…
What was the most important thing that happened this week in England?
The first December election was called since 1910?
Wrong!
England made it to the final of the Rugby World Cup?
Wrong!
The Bake Off Final?
Wrong.
Halloween?
Wrong.
No, the most important event this week was Harry’s Birthday!
We bought him some new squeaky tennis balls…
I’m not one for making dogs cakes – especially goldies with their sensitive stomachs – but Harry did have a extra treats and a vegetarian pig’s ear to celebrate…
Of course the most important event of the year has to be offset…
England lost the rugby despite the boys support…
The weather has been even wetter than ever. I’ve never seen the River Okement this full…
With all the wet weather I stayed in and caught up with chores, including resurrecting the bowl of cacti I made lovely littlest nearly 3 years ago.
Of course some other lovely things happened too…
I received a photo ofΒ some Santa Sacks knitted from my Santa Sack pattern. The lady who sent it has made 42 in total – Not sure I’ve made that many!
And Lovely Husband bought a magnificent pine cone back from the woods to draw.
I haven’t drawn it yet, but was so impressed with it I’m displaying it on the coffee tale.
Hope you’ve had a great week.
Until next time,
Bekki x
..
Happy birthday Harry!!πππΆ

Thank you. He’s two. If I’m honest, I’m a little scared of drawing the pine cone.

I think it’s wonderful that there are vegetarian pigs out there – and willing to donate their ears too.π· π

Harry says Thank you. Guess you were happier with the rugby result than my boys. Thanks for the weather wishes, but the forecast is not looking promising. Presume you may be hoping for rain.
Have a great week xx

Good morning.
We had our first bit of rain on Friday night. π It rained all night and stopped in the morning, just before we all started getting ready for the rugby.
We are all still going a bit rugby crazy. Today the captain and cup arrives back in Johannesburg. On Thursday is a big parade. Only thereafter I guess will be come back to normal a bit. π We are all very happy, and feel sorry for those that did not win. England played a fab game, and well done to them too.
Have a great week. November already. This year is going just so very fast.

Glad to hear you had a least a little rain. Sounds as if the whole of SA is on a lovely high. I did’t watch the rugby, but hubby said we didn’t play as well as you guys, so the best team on the day won.
Have a great week and enjoy the party atmosphere while it lasts xx

Thank you, we are loving the rain, and cool weather. Making the most of it for now.
π We will be having a parade tomorrow for all the fans to see the cup. Then things will probably return to normal again.
xx Midweek, enjoy and have fun with the drawing and sketching.

I though the cactus fad was on it’s way out, but they seem to be making a resurgence. xx

I’ve never owned a cactus. But given how bad I am at plants, they ought to be the sort of thing I can cope with π
