Welcome to my Sunday Sevens – a post where I share seven (or so) photos of my week away from the blog.
We’ve had yet another week with a ridiculous amount of wind and rain. To make things worse the temperatures have dropped to an very unseasonable level. We even had snow on Wednesday. The last time I remember snow in November was 30 years ago.
To make things worse the central heating decided to play up…
Unlike the last couple of weeks I’ve managed get out on more than dog walks.
On Wednesday I went to a talk by ecologist and wildlife artist John Walters. John draws all his subjects in the wild. After the talk he gave us a demonstration of his techniques…
And on Friday we went to the Camping and Caravan show..,
Couldn’t believe the size of this ‘caravan’…
Inside was a home from home…
It even had a fake fire and full screen TV…
And finally, I had a few complaints last week that Harry was too difficult to see camouflaged by ferns,Β so this week here’s a slightly easier ‘Where’s Harry?’
Until next time,
Bekki x
It took me a few seconds but, being that he’s a goldie, I should have known exactly where to look for him first.

Where’s Harry- a wonderful feature that cheers my Sunday in place of Mr Hicks in a muddy puddle. I was looking for him under the blanket till I spotted the snozzle! Terrific. We have had no end of rain and more rain but no snow yet…. Hope the boiler is ok now.

Oh dear, feels like I’m going to have to feature it every week now.
Hope your not at any risk of flooding?
Yes, thanks, boiler all tickety-boo now.

Hubby isn’t as strict as me and does show at meal times.
That caravan was enormous – rather defeated the point of it being a caravan.
Yes, nice to have heating – although at least we had log burners and the aga when it wasn’t behaving xx

Snow, cold weather, seems winter is going to come very early. At least you got out for walks still.
I could make do in a “caravan” like that. It is nice and big and cosy too. π
And this time I spotted Harry too.
Enjoy the new week and keep warm and dry. xx

It certainly has – although if anything’s going to stop us going out it’s the wind and torrential rain.
Ha ha! Yes I could make do. I think the ‘downstairs space’ was as big as the downstairs in our first house.
Yay! for spotting harry – sorry no prizes.
Wishing you a lovely week too – I suspect you won’t have any trouble keeping warm π xx

π No trouble here keeping warm, and getting a bit of sunburn on weekends when taking Miekie out.
Weather is bringing bits of rain at least too, so we are very grateful.
Have a good week. π Hugs to Harry.

Imagine trying to drive that RV through the lanes!!! The horror!!

Yep! I have enough trouble with tourists with ordinary ones. Although to be fair, there was a sign that said it needed delivering to the site you wanted it on – which really means it wasn’t an RV , even though they were calling it one. Can’t imagine who would actually want one. If you can’t move it yourself, you might as well have one of those proper fixed chalet mobile homes ones – can’t think what the proper name for them is right now.
