Welcome to my Sunday Sevens – a post where I share seven (or so) photos of my week away from the blog.
Finally we’ve had a mostly dry week; a whole five days in a row without rain! You can tell I’m getting old, because the thing that mostly excited me was that I could put the washing out on the line…
We could also get on with the gardening. Lovely Hubby finished cutting the hedges…
… and Harry helped me prune the fuschias…
Having regular dry dog walks was also very welcome…
As well as being dry it’s also sometimes been very windy. Unfortunately the wind blew down one of our bird boxes – glad it wasn’t nesting time of year…
In other news, we attended a golden retriever meetup at Perranporth last Sunday…
Although this time we bucked the system by taking Harry’s chum with us…
On Friday it was my lovely neighbour’s birthday. Lovely Husband usually draws a cartoon in our neighbours’ cards, but now I’m the artist in the house I got to do the drawing…
And finally, because I know you’re enjoying them so much, here’s another Where’s Harry photo…
What do you mean they’re getting easier?
Hope you’ve had a great week.
Until next time,
Bekki x
Taking a non goldie to a goldie meet up! You rebel you. I hope he wasn’t pointed at and mocked for non-goldiness.
As for your neighbour’s card – it either says something about her drinking habits or it’s an exercise in perspective 😉

Ha ha. He was refered to as an interloper.
My neighbour is very good at drinking – why waste a skill?

A lovely happy week. I quite agree about the joys of washing drying outside. It just smells nicer. The dog meet up looks great fun, I can see Harry likes them very much indeed. I managed tospot Harry this week! They are not getting easier ,it was me getting better at the Where’s Harry. I think I saw an advert for personalised books for spottig where your dog is, just like the Where’sWally books. Hope you get the bird box fixed for next Spring.

I’ll have to have a look forc these books you mention. I need to get hubby onto the bird box. Heights aren’t my department.

The goldie meet up looks fun – I love all the dogs in the water. Enjoy the nice weather while it’s here – the future week looks gloomy. Harry is on the sofa – that was the easiest one.

Rebellion in the goldie meetup ranks!! And yes, that was terribly easy to spot Harry. That bug is enormous – did LH make it? Your card made me laugh – I know your friend very well. I hope you get the perfect weather soon. It’s stopped raining for a bit here too 🙂

Sorry. Not easy to get Harry more than three feet away from me at the best of times. Good to here your rain is giving you a break. We’re forecast gales and rain next week 😔🌧

I think I have a bit of garden envy! What a fabulous big garden you have. As a non dog family I had no idea doggie meet ups were a thing. How lovely!

Thank you. We are very lucky to live where we do. I think they’re a pretty new thing and only for certain breeds that are highly sociable.

What a lovely week, and sunshine too. Glad you enjoyed some dry (ish) walks, and I hope the dry weather holds a bit longer.
We had some rain, for which are very grateful. We hope for more, so when it comes your way, please ask it to rain this side too. 😉
Lovely to all the doggies, and Harry taking a nap. 🙂
Enjoy the new week, and enjoy your drawings.
