Last weekend we went to visit the in laws. They live near Worksop where there’s been lots of flooding. There was a lot of water still around…
…and dog walks were very muddy…
…but the woods still very beautiful…
Lovely husband found an interesting piece of fungi…
… and I found a spooky pumpkin…
Back at home, Lovely Husband decided to have just one slice of bread with his salad…
… and this arrived in the post..
Friday was cake craft afternoon. Here are the advent calendars two of the ladies had made in a WI workshop…
Harry’s friend also came to stay for the day on Friday, but can you spot Harry…

I win I spotted Harry! Love the husband’s slice of bread! Proper doorstop. My your in laws have had a lot of rain, it’s been pretty dire, but the last couple of days have been glorious. Have another great week.

They did. Fortunately their house is not in a bit that got flood, but Harry, Hubby and I did rather flood their house with mud.

On my, that’s is a lot of water, hopefully it will dry up shortly. I see Harry in the distance. You should have drawn that fungi-it would look great.

It is. I’ll have to draw the fungi from the photo – it’s a lesson to maybe start taking a small sketch book out with me. Although Harry has little patience for hanging around on dog walks and Hubby even less. It’s a shame, my old dog used to disappear for a good twenty minutes each walk. Just think of the sketching I could have done while I was waiting and calling!

I think this week’s ‘Where’s Harry?’ was too easy I spotted him quite quickly. Either that or I’m getting accustomed to searching golden grasses for a dog of the same colour. Love the fungi, it’s quite unusual ……

Ha ha! At least you can’t say I haven’t taught your anything 😉 Either way I’ll have to train Harry to hide better.
You’re right – I’ve certainly never see one like it before. Mind, I’m no expert….

For a split second I believed Hubby was only going to have one ordinary slice when he said he was only going to have one slice of bread, but was not in the least surprised when I saw what he did have 🙂
