Welcome to my Sunday Sevens – a post where I share seven (or so) photos of my week.
This week started with a very little bit of snow…
As the week progressed we had some lovely sunshine….
… and then cloud, mist and rain. So I was pleased when my new walking boots arrived. The old ones were literally falling apart. Nice to have dry warm feet again!
Indoors I painted a canvas green ready for the cork project I mentioned a while ago and confused everyone with my explanation of it. The canvas dried too green, so I need to paint it again.
After the success of my first batch of damson vodka I decide to try my hand at making some Damson gin…
And finally here’s Harry being a true gentleman: When I took my Baa-ble Hat off at the gate, he insisted on carrying it up the drive for me…
Hope you’ve had a great week.
Until next time,
Bekki x
Harry is a very kind dog. Lovely weather this week, we missed out on snow. Lovely view.

That or he’s after a biscuit when he gives it back. The snow really wasn’t much. It is. We’re very lucky.

It was 20 degrees c here today – some of the ladybirds who were hibernating at the top of the window in my workroom woke up and were wandering about the window panes so I put them in a box with punched holes and took them up the garden and put them on a shelf in a lean-to so, hopefully, they’ll go back to sleep.
I love the way rRetrievers like to carry things around and, even though I know it’s what they’re bred for, it still looks so cute.

So hard for the animals with these up and down temperatures. Well done with the ladybirds, although you should have read them a bedtime story too.
Harry definitely knows how to look cute, but he’d never be involved in what his breed are bred for.

Tialys made me laugh – it was 20c here too yesterday and it rained all day and this is our hottest and driest month 🙂 Love Harry being a gentleman. You should take full advantage of that particular trait and get him to carry the shopping in as well 🙂 Is it just me or do our walking boots wear out quicker these days?

Me too 🙂 Harry hasn’t quite graduated to carrying the shopping in – mind he’d probably eat it if we gave it him. He does help take the recycling out and brings his bowl to me when he’s finished his dinner – but you do have to trade for a biscuit to get him to let go!
No, it’s not just you, I think so too.
