It’s been just over a month since I showed you the cross stitch I started working on again at the beginning of lock down, which had been lying untouched for several years. At the time I mentioned how this felt rather therapeutic under the lock own circumstances and many agreed they had found themselves ‘comfort crafting’ too, rather than working on their more usual projects.
Including my lock down stitching I’d completed about a quarter…
I’m pleased to say that I’ve now completed around a half…
So if it’s taken me 8 years to do approximately half, at that speed I’ll be finished by 2028 – or maybe, if I keep going, even less.
Are you still comfort crafting or doing something else?
Until next time,
Bekki x
That is such a beautiful cross stitch. So delicate looking. I’m not comfort crafting but instead redecorating and freshening up my space where I like to craft/sew. Paint, floors, lighting. Hard work but it will look amazing when I am done. (hopefully before 2028)

Thank you. It is fine.
Good for you. We’ve said we’d decorate my art/sewing space, but hubby working, so waiting for him to no be or it will take forever. I think it might be a big job when the wall paper comes off,

I’m impressed! Given the exponential increase in finishing the quarters it will be hung on your wall by sometime early next week…………. And I am being INCREDIBLY sanguine! Nothing is getting finished, but many, many, many half completed projects are scattered about……………

Ha ha. Incredibly sanguine. Forca start there’s not enough hours between now and next week.
The more scattered project the more creative you are 🙂

You will finish! You’ll feel such an achievement when you have. Me, I’m doing a lot of floundering around.

I’ll finish, just remind me not to start another. Easy to flounder when things are a bit out of kilter – hopefully there’s lots of creative fermentation going on in your subconscious.

Only 8 years- it looks very pretty. I’m now unpacking and I am ashamed I have a project not touched in 18 years!
